I appreciated the kindness shown to me in the numerous phone calls. My mother passed away outside of Jerseyville, and I too live out of the area. I appreciated Carl rerouting his trip to bring Mom back to Jerseyville to pick up her clothes from me (so that she wouldn't be in the hearse while he talked with me). He offered this kindness and wouldn't take "no" for an answer.
