THOMAS MEYER

JERSEYVILLE – Thomas Edwin Meyer, 71, passed away unexpectedly at 11:01 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home in Jerseyville. 

He was born on April 5, 1953 in Carrollton, Illinois and was the son of the late William and Violet (Weller) Meyer. 

Thomas graduated with the Class of 1972 from Jersey Community High School and previously been employed at the Jerseyville Wal-Mart. 

He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and was known for his vast collection of coins. 

Surviving are a daughter, Diana Brown of Jerseyville; as well as a brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Brenda Meyer of Kane. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Dale. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Kane Cemetery.
