THOMAS KAIMAIN

GODFREY - Thomas Lee Kaiman passed away July 13, 2025, in Godfrey, IL. 

He was born in St. Louis, MO, on October 14, 1938, to Lambert H. Kaiman and Lucienne (Deschodt) Kaiman.

He attended Saint Louis University before working at Supervalu / Wetterau, Inc. In his career, he served as Director of Store Development and Manager of Equipment Applications. Tom was characterized as a person who could consistently be relied upon to perform his duties effectively. His reliability and focus on his work earned him the admiration of both his clients and colleagues. Tom retired from Supervalu after 35 years.

Tom was a loving husband, son, brother, and stepfather. He enjoyed traveling, researching genealogy, and rehabbing houses.

He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Ellen Kaiman, sisters Gee Kaiman and Kathleen (Michael) Peterson, stepdaughter Elizabeth (Steve) Miller, stepson Ron Van Meter, and sister-in-law Cheryl Betty.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sister Carol Kaiman, SL, and stepson Richard Van Meter.

A private burial will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL, at a later date.
