THERESA GREER

KANE – Theresa Louise Greer, 66, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the home of her son in Dow.  

She was born on February 11, 1958, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to the late Norman Edward and Jane Dolores (Daves) Goff.

On October 16, 1987, she married Dennis Greer in West Alton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2018.

Theresa worked as a dietary cook with DD Home Services, where her dedication and care touched the lives of many. Outside of work, she was happiest camping, cherishing the outdoors, and creating lasting memories with her family. The holidays were especially dear to her, as she found joy in spoiling her loved ones and making every celebration special.

Surviving are a son, Kristopher Goff of Dow; a daughter, Patricia Greer and her fiancé, Douglas Cathcart, of Jerseyville; three step-children, Jennifer (Gary) Scott of Jerseyville, Cristina Malloy of Jerseyville and Deanna Greer of Alton; a bonus daughter, Vicki Hildred of Saint Louis, Missouri; a brother, Norman Edward Goff II of Delhi; two sisters and a brother in-law, Beverly Bock of Godfrey and Sharon (James) Madlock of Delhi; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Goff and a step-son, Shawn Quinn.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
