RANDY BOLLINGER

GRAFTON - Randall Gene "Randy" Bollinger, 59, died Friday afternoon, March 5, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Alton, Illinois on January 23, 1962, the son of Larry and Nancy (Skeens) Bollinger.

A lifelong resident of Grafton, Randy graduated in 1980 from Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville. While attending high school and continuing after his graduation he worked for Powerway, a subsidiary of Riverway Shipyard for 22 years until its sale to Covington Diesel.  He continued with Covington for eight more years as a certified diesel technician for tow boats on the river. He then went back to Riverway Shipyard for five years as a Port Engineer until they sold to Ingram Barge.

In the early 1990's, Randy started his own business, Bollinger Construction Services, which he worked on the side in his spare time.

Randy enjoyed driving the dump truck, assisting in his son's business venture, watching NASCAR races, boating and spending time with family and friends, as well as his four little puppies.

He married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Senger, on June 24, 1983 at the First United Methodist Church in Jerseyville. Together, they have been blessed with 37 years of marriage, and their three children, of which he was extremely proud.
