PHILLIS KRUEGER

FIELDON - Phillis Ann Krueger, 92, died at 10:37 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Illinois.

She was born in East Alton, Illinois on March 27, 1933, the only child born to Thomas Pearl and Florence L. (Green) Zerby.

Phillis graduated from Jersey Township High School and was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Jerseyville.

She married Fred W. Krueger on November 18, 1956 at the Fieldon United Church of Christ, and were proud parents of a son, David, and together they shared 55 years of marriage before his death on September 12, 2012.

She is survived by a dear friend Deborah (Randy) Davis of Carrollton; along with numerous cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, David Krueger on August 19, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev. Deborah Lawson will officiate.

Burial will be in the Fieldon Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Peace United Church of Christ in Jerseyville.
