PAUL McCASLAND

JERSEYVILLE - Paul Richard McCasland, 61, of Jerseyville, Illinois, passed away on September 17, 2024, after a brief battle Leukemia.

Paul was born on August 19, 1963, to William F. McCasland and Aleine L. McCasland in Waterbury, Connecticut. 

Paul attended a year of high School at Warren F. Kaynor Technical School located in Waterbury, Connecticut in the Automobile Mechanic shop before transitioning over to the Naugatuck Connecticut Higher Education Department where he achieved and obtained his General Education Diploma. 

Paul was a unique individual, distinguished by his exceptional knowledge of music/artists, quick wit, and generous spirit. Paul loved to collect things from toys, knives, lighters, and most of all Christmas and Halloween Decorations. He loved Christmas most of all. 

Paul spent many years working in the Pizza & Restaurant Business in Connecticut and loved being in the Kitchen.

Paul relocated to Jerseyville, Illinois from Naugatuck, Connecticut in 2014 where he shared time with his Brother Gary McCasland from Hardin, Illinois. 

Paul found faith in Jesus, Christian love and Friendship at the Got Faith Ministries in Jerseyville, Illinois where he once again found himself working in the Kitchen. 

Paul was predeceased by his mother Aleine McCasland and his brother, Gary McCasland.

He is survived by his Father, William F. McCasland and Brother William F. McCasland; his nieces, Abigail and Elizabeth McCasland and his nephew William McCasland, all of Hardin, Illinois.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Got Faith Ministries on Saturday September 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to Got Faith Ministries located at 508 Pine Street in Jerseyville, Illinois.
