GRAFTON – Patricia Ann Pohlman, 86, passed away at 2:53 a.m., on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Jerseyville Manor.

She was born on April 22, 1938, in Hartford, Illinois, the daughter of the late Vernie L. and Agnes M. (Gurley) Taylor.

On November 19, 1955, Pat married the love of her life, Richard Laverne Pohlman, in Holly Springs, Mississippi. They shared a beautiful life together until his passing on April 28, 2018.

Pat worked various jobs throughout her life, but her true calling and greatest joy came from being a devoted wife, mom, and grandma. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family, especially on Sundays in Grafton, where she delighted everyone with her famous chicken and dumplings and other home-cooked meals. Pat’s love of family and her ability to create cherished memories will forever be remembered.

She is surviving by three children and their spouses, Kevin and Gayle Pohlman of Dow, Cheryl and Alan Lee of Grafton and Carrie and Dave Hamilton of Jerseyville; ten grandchildren, Tracy, Sarah, Jodi, Neal, Paul, Kacie, Michael, Katelyn, Megann and Jill; twenty great grandchildren; as well as a brother, Norman Taylor.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by great grandsons, Brock and Raymond Hamilton, Pax Hamilton and Willa Hamilton.
