PATRICIA NAYLOR
GRAFTON – Patricia Mae Naylor, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at her home in Grafton.
She was born in Grafton, Illinois on February 27, 1932, to the late Alvin A. and Jewel (Coudry) Knight.
Patricia lived a long and full life devoted to her family and friends. She was best known for her love of cooking and ensuring that everyone who came through her door was well fed and cared for. She found immense joy hosting family fish fry, where laughter and stories filled the room.
Her dog, Miles, was her constant companion, always by her side and spoiled with love. Above all, Patricia cherished her family and took great pride in them.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her kindness, her joyful energy, and they way she brought people together through food, music, and love.
She is survived by a son, Terry Presley of Jerseyville; a daughter, Christina Goodwin of Grafton; four grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Porter, Rachel (Christopher) Hunter, Matthew (Sara) Goodwin, and Samantha (Keaton) Devening; seven great-grandchildren, Colt Goodwin, Nealy (Garrett) Ontis, Nelly (Daniel) Swiecicki, Jakobe (Cassidy) Porter, Tukston Porter, Winry Hunter, and Maes Hunter; four great-great-grandchildren, Gunner and Cooper Ontis, and Greyson and Cameron Swiecicki; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Naylor; a son, Ronald B. Porter; siblings, Alvin Curtis Knight, Bobby Franklin Knight, and Delles Ramone Knight; a granddaughter, Lisa K. Porter; a grandson, Joseph Ronald Porter; and a great-grandson, William Christopher Hunter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., with Frank DeWitt officiating.
Burial will immediately follow at the Rosedale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
