O.E. “MAC” McCLAIN

JERSEYVILLE – Orvie Endes “Mac” McClain, 99, died at 4:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jerseyville.

He was born on February 2, 1925 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and was the son of the late Charlie and Gertie (Morris) McClain.

He married the former Beulah Lee Daniel on January 21, 1945 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. They began their married life in Missouri, where Mac worked as a farmer. Mac worked as a cabinet maker for a period of time, prior to accepting employment with the Olin Corporation, were he was employed until his retirement.

Throughout their 71 years of marriage, Mac and Beulah were blessed with many wonderful memories with one another and their family. While the blessings they shared were a plenty, it was in the heartaches of their lives that their love for another truly shined, with their unwavering faith in the Lord, seeing them through it all.
