OLLIE PRICE III

JERSEYVILLE - Ollie Price III, 41, died unexpectedly at 3:08 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on February 18, 1978 in Jerseyville, a son born to Ollie Price Jr. and Susan Weller.

Ollie grew up in Jerseyville and attended Jerseyville schools.

He was an accomplished and gifted tattoo artist, working at various establishments in addition to crafting his own work throughout the years and the pride he took in his work is proudly displayed on countless people throughout the area.

He was a member of the newly re-organized Moose Lodge in Jerseyville and had recently began working as an auto body technician at JP Auto Body in Godfrey.

He was a lover of music, of all kinds, and enjoyed the opportunity to attend concerts any time the opportunity presented itself.

Ollie never knew a stranger, and was not afraid to speak his mind. He lived life on his own terms and carried himself through the world in his own unique way.

Surviving are a son, Byron Price; two daughters, Jade Holmes and Chloe Demko, all of Carrollton; his father, Ollie Price Jr. of Kane; his mother, Susan Weller of Carlinville; eight siblings, Mary Robinson of Elsah; Rachel Viviano of Jacksonville; Ashley Weller of Brighton; James Summers of Jerseyville; Amy and Beth Pruiit, both of Alton; Chris Summers of Jerseyville and Alex Viviano of Alton; his grandparents, Mazie Bridgeman of Jerseyille; Bill Bridgeman of Belltown; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Price on January 26, 2013; a sister, Tammy Downing on July 20, 2014; as well as his grandparents, Ollie and Alberta Price.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of celebration of life services at 7 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
