GRANITE CITY - Melody Lynn McAdams, 53, died at 2:08 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois.

She was born on February 1, 1971 in Jersey County, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Donald Ray and Roberta Jean (Bowman) McAdams, Sr.

Melody graduated with the Class of 1989 from Jersey Community High School and worked as a receptionist in the office of Dr. Karl Gunderson in Granite City, Illinois.

Surviving are four brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Ray and Cyndi McAdams Jr. of Kane, Robert and Peggy McAdams of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, David and Shannon McAdams of Jerseyville and Joshua and Stevie McAdams of Jerseyville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clay and Ruth McAdams and Robert and Martha Maxine Bowman.

Private interment will be held at Noble Cemetery in Otterville.
