MARIAN GOULD

ALTON – Marian J. Gould, 97, passed away at 6:58 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2023 at River Crossing of Alton.

She was born on July 22, 1926 in Rockbridge, Illinois, one of two children born to the late Loren and Myrtle (Wilton) Gould.

Marian graduated from Alton High School and spent her working career as a Secretary for Shell Oil Company and later for Southern Illinois University Dental School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene “Gene” Gould, who was in killed in action during the Korean War.

Per her wishes, no services will be held.

Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville has been entrusted with arrangements.
