MARGARET SAYERS

BRIGHTON - Margaret Ann Catherine (Amonn) Sayers of Brighton,  beloved wife of Gordon Sayers, passed away peacefully at Alton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 9, 2023.  

Margaret was born in London, England and moved to the USA on August 10, 1968 where she became a proud USA citizen.  Margaret was the mother of Stephen C Sayers and Tracy E Sayers Trombetta. 

She was known to many as “Nan” - the grandmother of Sarah (Joe) Lutterbie, Katelyn (Canyon) Breazeale and Elise Trombetta, Phillip (Carolina) Sayers, Andrew Sayers and Christopher Sayers and great-grandmother of Johnathon, Gordon, Nikolas, Vivi Jo and Ledger.  

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, son Stephen and grand-daughter Jessie Emma Trombetta.

As she requested,  there be no service or memorial held.  There will be a graveside service for family members at Brighton Cemetery.

Margaret requested that friends and relatives take time to remember her and give thanks for the gifts they have been given in this life.
