LORETTA WILSON

BRIGHTON – Loretta G. (Golden) Wilson, 98, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Willow Rose Rehab and Health Care Center in Jerseyville.

She was born on November 21, 1922 in Huntington, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Patrick F. and Julia (Donnelly) Golden.

Loretta married Ernest Wilson and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1981.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Golden of Brighton; along with her loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Nelson, Mary Katherine “Kitty” Young, Helen Godlen, Margaret Golden and Patricia Williams; as well as two brothers, Patrick “Ike” and James “Jake” Golden.

Cremation rights will be accorded and have been entrusted with Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
