KENNETH TERPENING

SPRINGFIELD – Kenneth Roger Terpening, 70, passed away at 7:56 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023 at Jersey Community Hospital.

He was born on September 6, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Kenneth and Marcella (Collie) Terpening. Kenneth spent his childhood residing in Florida for a period of time, prior to his family settling in the Jerseyville area, where he graduated from Jersey Community High School.

Following his graduation, he enlisted with the United States Army where he served our Country honorably during the Vietnam War.

Kenneth was a lifelong over the road truck driver and enjoyed spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and great granddaughter. In addition, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and feeding the geese at the lake.

Surviving are two daughters and sons in-law, Jessica and Jeremy Shaun Little of Fieldon and Marcella and Ryan Puterbaugh of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, Morgan and Draven Puterbaugh and Cameron Little; a great granddaughter, Marley; as well a brother, Mike Terpening of Alton.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.
