JOHN WELLS
JERSEYVILLE – John H.P. Wells, 47, died unexpectedly at 11:47 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2022 in the Emergency Room at Jersey Community Hospital.
He was born on February 26, 1975 in Carrollton and was the son of William and Bonnie (Day) Wells.
John grew up in Carrollton and was a graduate of Carrollton High School.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing as well as playing video games and walking his beloved dog, George.
Surviving are his mother, Bonnie Wells of Jerseyville; a brother and sister, Arthur Wells and Rebecca Wells; as well as a niece, Megan.
He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Wells; a sister, Annie Wells; as well as an infant brother, William Allen Wells.
A Memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
For those desiring, memorials may be given to the family, in care of Crawford Funeral Home, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
