John Anderson Obituary

JOHN ANDERSON

SHORELINE, WASHINGTON - John P. Anderson, 68, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his residence.

John Patrick Anderson was born in Jacksonville, IL on Oct 28, 1951 to the late Francis J. “Sam” and Juanita Anderson.

John lived in the Northwest much of his adult life.  He loved hiking in the woods and along the ocean, always sharing photos of the natural beauty he enjoyed there.  His love of painting, carpentry and music filled his free time.  John was working for Heritage Bank at the time of his death.  He enjoyed his work and those who worked with him.

John will be sorely missed by all who loved him—his family, friends, and his Seattle “friend family.”  The spirit of his warm smile, his deep resonant voice, his love of the arts and his deep appreciation of the earthly beauty that surrounded him will live on with us all.

He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Steve and Mary Ann Anderson of Lisle, IL; Patricia and Chuck Ludwig of Hayward, CA and Jim and Susie Anderson of Flower Mount, TX; three nephews and their spouses, Matt and Catherine Anderson, David and Leslie Anderson and Patrick and Keeley Anderson; a niece and her spouse, Jenny and Tyler Grawe; seven great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis J. “Sam” and Juanita Anderson of Jerseyville.

John will be buried at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL alongside his parents.  The internment will be private given the current COVID restrictions.
