Hannah Watts Obituary

HANNAH WATTS

ALTON -   Hannah Renee Watts, 28, went to be with the Lord at 2:20 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Mo., from complications from Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

She was born in Alton, Illinois on July 2, 1996, and from the beginning possessed a bright and bubbly personality.

She grew up in Brighton, Illinois along with her two siblings, and enjoyed participating and competing in BMX Racing. Like any typical teenager, she enjoyed hanging out with her friends, and after she received her drivers license, she was always on the go.

She enjoyed being outdoors, always smiling, with a great sense of humor, and was an avid Harry Potter fan.

She graduated in 2014 from Southwestern High School in Piasa, and later began working at World Wide Technologies, where she would meet the love of her life, Brian Ewin. The two eventually moved on to the Imperial Manufacturing Group in Alton, where she was currently employed as a Forklift Operator.

She was formerly married to Nick Watts of Brighton, and together they had a son, Emil James Watts.

Surviving are her parents, Heather (Blaine) and Joe Bangs of Southside, Ar., and Chris Robinson of Brighton; her son, Emil James Watts; a sister, Chryssa Robinson of Los Angeles, Ca.; a brother, Cody Robinson of Brighton; her grandparents, Robert and Linda Lou Blaine of Brighton; her loving companion of three years, Brian Ewin of Alton; her future mother in-law, Kim Ewin of Godfrey; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Freeman and Sharon Robinson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Her grandfather, Rev. Robert Blaine, will officiate.

She will be laid to rest in White Cemetery in Jersey County.
