DICK JAMISON
JERSEYVILLE - Glenn Richard Jamison, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Known lovingly as “Dick,” he was a man remembered for his constant warmth, quiet strength, quick wit and unyielding love for his family. Those who knew him, never forgot him; as throughout his long life, Dick touched many with his generosity and care. As a service member of the United States Air Force, Dick embodied their core values by never wavering in his integrity, holding steadfast to his love for his country and his family and providing excellence in everything he did. Later in his life, Dick dedicated 23 years to Fred Weber Construction, before retiring in 2004.
Dick loved drinking his coffee on the front porch, golfing, painting, and spending quality time with friends and family. His favorite thing was being surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all truly loved their pawpaw, which is apparent by the pictures and memories that scatter the home he has shared with his wife, Michelle Jamison, for 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bill Jamison and his mother and father, Bernice and Glenn.
Dick is survived by his wife, Michelle Jamison of Jerseyville, his sister Janeen Pressey and her husband David Pressey of Pittsfield, his son Brent Jamison of Imperial MO, married to Pam Jamison, Daughter-In-Law Diane Crump of Poquoson, VA, Grandson Jonathan Jamison of Imperial MO, Granddaughters Ashley McCarthy of Poquoson, VA, married to Kevin McCarthy and their three children Emma, Austin and Owen, Rachel Reed of Arnold and Taylor Price of Brighton married to Justin Price and their three children Ryleigh, Remi and Raelyn.
