On August 25, 1984, he married Sylvia Krizek in Saint Louis. Together they have shared in many years of love, laughter and countless memories.

Edward worked as a self-employed contractor, known for his expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and automotive work. Truly a jack of all trades, he could fix anything and took great pride in his work.

He had a special ability to see the best in every situation and always managed to make even the toughest times better. His infectious laugh brought joy to everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his significant other, Sylvia Molohon of Grafton; two children, Renae Molohon of Jerseyville and Garry (Debbie) Eldridge of Jerseyville; four grandchildren, Zachary (Taylor) Jones of Wood River, Kayla Sawyer of Jerseyville, Alyssa Daniels of Olney and Trenton Sawyer of Jerseyville; three sisters and a brother in-law, Dorothy Trotter of Effingham, Barbara (Reggie) Mynt of Granite City, and Sherri Ueltzen of Centralia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Joseph Molohon and a brother in-law, Billy Ray Trotter; and two sisters, Debra Sweeney and Linda Styles.
