DRAY PERKINSON

FIELDON - Dray Alan Perkinson, 36, passed away unexpectedly at 9:29 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, in Celebration, Florida as a result of a highway accident.

He was born on July 25, 1987, in Alton, Illinois and was the son of Denny Perkinson, Jr. and Malea (Watson) Hagen. 

Dray enjoyed his school days at Delhi Elementary, Illini Junior High School, and graduated from NCCS Christian School with honors. He participated in baseball and basketball during school, but mostly enjoyed having fun with family and friends. Dray also liked music, dancing, movies, and cooking. We will remember his laugh, his hugs, and his way of making us feel loved.  

Surviving are his daughters Amyah and Chloe, who warmed his heart; his mother and step-father, Malea and Ron Hagen of Fieldon; his father, Denny Perkinson, Jr. of Delhi; two sisters, Carrie and Catherine; paternal grandparents, Denny and Linda Perkinson, Sr. of Delhi; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Tristan Dean Perkinson; his brother, Drew Evan Perkinson; a cousin Tyler Earl Watson and his maternal grandparents, Earl "Junior" and Marcia Watson.

Private services were held at Crawford Funeral Home and Dray was laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
