JERSEYVILLE - Donna Kay Crader, 61, passed away at 9:03 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

She was born on March 12, 1964 in Monterey, California, on the military base of Fort Ord. Donna was a 1982 graduate of Jersey Community High School, and shortly thereafter, on October 29, 1982, she married Harley Dale Crader at Peace United Church of Christ in Jerseyville. Their marriage spanned 43 years, and together they shared in the joys of raising their three children and watching their family grow with the grandchildren who followed.

Donna was employed for many years at Fran and Marilyn’s Restaurant in Jerseyville, where she became a familiar and friendly face to so many in the community. She later worked as a purchasing agent at West Star Aviation prior to her retirement.

She found joy in the simple things she loved, especially Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter, but above all else, family was the center of Donna’s world. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her grandchildren, who were the true light of her life.

Surviving are her husband, Harley Crader of Jerseyville; a son and daughter-in-law, Harley Dale Crader Jr. and Lindsey Crader of Barre, Vermont; her twin daughters, Carmen Cushman and Cassandra Crader, both of Jerseyville; six grandchildren, Natasha Crader, Harley Dale “Trip” Crader III, Alex Cassens, Austin Schoen, Sam Crader, and Isabella Hunn; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kimberly and Steve Crader of Jerseyville and Sherrie and Bud Trott of Fenton, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sons-in-law, Travis Schoen, Brian Cushman, and Trent Hardin.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
