DI-ANNA HUTCHENS
WHITE HALL - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Di-Anna, who died suddenly on Monday, January 12, 2026 at her home.
Her love was fierce, her presence filled every room, and her voice was never quiet when it came to the people she cared for.
She loved hard and loudly-the kind of love that left no doubt, no questions, and no uncertainty, and you never had to guess exactly where you stood with her.
She was a woman of strength, passion and brutal honesty. She spoke her truth, protected her family and loved with her whole heart. Her laughter was contagious, her opinions were clear, and her loyalty was unwavering. She showed up fully in every moment, whether in celebration, in struggle or just in everyday life.
To know here was to be loved by her-and that love was powerful, unforgettable, and lasting. Her legacy lives on through her children, family, and all those fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.
She came into this world in Rock Island, Illinois with her twin sister, on August 4, 1962, and was the daughter of the late Delbert Ray and Edna Viola (Raymer) Hutchens.
She is survived by her three children, Brandy Wallace of Springfield, Shawn (Brooke) Wallace of Jerseyville and Christopher Wallace of White Hall; Seven Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren; four brothers, Ray (Barbara) Hutchens of Grafton, Russell (Teresa) Hutchens of Brighton, Terry (Teresa) Hutchens of Belleville, and Randy (Tina) Hutchens of Jerseyville; three sisters, Debbie (James) Mennemeyer of Maryland Heights, Mo., Melissa (Marty) Smay of Kane, and her twin and inseparable best friend, De-Anna Holder of White Hall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Rikalia Wallace.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. Her brother in-law, Rev. Marty Smay will officiate.
She will be laid to rest in Meadowbranch Cemetery in Grafton.
Memorials may be given to her family in care of the funeral home.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we are grateful for the lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the memories we will carry with us forever. She may have left his world, but her voice, her spirit, and her love will forever remain with us.
Rest peacefully Mom, we love you endlessly.
