DEBORAH SCOGGINS
JERSEYVILLE - Deborah Ann "Debbie" Scoggins, 46, died suddenly on December 5, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint Charles, Missouri.
She was born in Alton, Illinois on July 31, 1977, the youngest of four children born to Robert William and Therese (Timmermeier) Scoggins.
Debbie was a lifelong Jerseyville resident, and attended St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic Schools, graduating from Jersey Community High School, and attended Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey where she was involved in the dental hygienist program.
The love of her life was her son Robbie, and she loved to spend time with her family, fish, and was an animal lover, especially her cats.
Surviving are her mother, Therese Stewart of Roswell, Georgia; her son, Robert William Talley of Fieldon; two sisters and brothers in-law, Mary and Kevin Scott of Fieldon, and Angela and Sam Scott of Alpharetta, Georgia; a brother, David Scoggins of Alton; her fiance', Erik Branham; along with numerous nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.
She's in Heaven now with her Dad, Robert William Scoggins who died August 15, 2004.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Jerseyville.
She will be laid to rest in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Jerseyville.
Memorials may be given at the funeral home, and will be used to assist in placing a permanent monument at Deborah's gravesite.
