DAVID NEWTON

DOW -   David Allen Newton, 53, died at 3:23 p.m., on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital from experiencing declining health after the loss of his companion, Kathy Hayn on October 24, 2018.

He was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on February 9, 1965, and was one of seven children born to Bobby Gene and Ruth (Delp) Newton.

David was a carpenter by trade and was very talented.  He had a love of music, fishing, mushroom hunting and simply having a good time.

He was loved by many, including his mother, Ruth Newton Britt; two sisters and brothers in-law, Shirley and Kevin Hall of Dow, and Kathy and Steven Byrd of Oakland, Ky.; two brothers and sisters in-law,  Jimmy and Connie Newton and Artie and Marlene Newton all of Bowling Green, Ky.; as well as his beloved chihuahua, Baby Girl.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Newton; his step father, James Britt; two brothers, Randy Newton and Gordon Newton; and two nephews, Joshua Newton and Nathan Newton.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Crawford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
