DAVID HOLDEN

JERSEYVILLE – David Wayne Holden, 64, died at 3:50 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Jersey Community Hospital.

He was born on August 28, 1960 in Grafton, Illinois and was the son of the late Robert Wayne and Zora Lee (Duff) Holden.

David was a self-employed plumber and enjoyed working on wood carving projects and socializing with his many friends.

Surviving are five children, Josh Brown, Justin Brown and Jamie Brown, all of Alabama, Robert “Robbie” Holden and Cory Holden, both of Alton; a sister, Sandra Fowler of Jerseyville; two brothers and a sister in-law, Roger and Sherry Holden of Yellville, Arkansas and Greg Holden of Jerseyville; ten grandchildren; as well as a special friend, Brenda Davis of Jerseyville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Flowers.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

Memorials may be given to the family to assist in cremation expenses, in care of Crawford Funeral Home, 1308 State Highway 109, Jerseyville, IL 62052.
