CHERYL GRAHAM
JERSEYVILLE – Cheryl Ann Graham, 68, died Friday, January 6, 2023 at Jersey Community Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on November 18, 1954 in Jerseyville and was a 1972 graduate of Jersey Community High School.
She married Larry Graham on June 17, 1972 in Jerseyville and together their marriage was blessed with many wonderful memories together, including the joys of raising their two daughters and their three grandchildren that followed.
Larry and Cheryl resided in Kane for many years, relocating to Jerseyville in 2012. Larry spent the majority of his career as a truck driver, and often times Cheryl traveled alongside him sharing driving duties and exploring different parts of the country with one another. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2016.
Cheryl’s life was blessed in many ways, but was not without its share of heartache and struggles. She was a devoted caregiver to Larry as his health began to decline and when she was diagnosed with cancer, she fought it with every fiber of her being.
Her home was her sanctuary, and she enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardening. She loved time spent with her family, most especially her grandchildren, and cherished the special moments she had with them all.
To truly know Cheryl, was to love her. She was a friend to all and her infectious laugh will be a cherished memory to all of her family and friends.
