BRENDA MEYER

JERSEYVILLE – Brenda Diana Meyer, 69, died at 7: 18 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.

She was born on June 20, 1954 in Carrollton, Illinois and was the daughter of the late George and Marcella (Price) Branham.

Brenda spent the early years of her childhood residing in Greene County, prior to the family settling in Jersey County, where she graduated with the Class of 1973 from Jersey Community High School.

She enjoyed spending time outside in her yard and working countless crossword puzzles and word searches throughout her life. She was also an avid bowler, and enjoyed the friendships she created while bowling as well as working at Lake Westside in Jerseyville.

Surviving are a daughter and son in-law, Diana and Timothy Brown of Jerseyville; a brother and sister in-law, Clyde and Sheila Branham of Wentzville, Missouri; three nieces; three nephews; as well as a sister in-law, Bonnie Branham of Jerseyville.

She will be laid to rest at the Grimes-Neeley Cemetery in Jerseyville.

Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville has been entrusted with arrangements.
