BONNIE JONES

ALTON – Bonnie A. (Bick) Jones, 65, formerly of Jerseyville, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, Missouri.

She was born on March 26, 1955 to the late Joseph William and Gertrude Theresa (Klocke) Bick and was raised, along with her six siblings, in Jerseyville and graduated from Jersey Community High School.

She married William Woodrow “Bill” Jones on August 15, 1980 in Jerseyville and together their marriage was blessed with 28 years, prior to his death on September 7, 2008. After Bill’s passing, Bonnie found comfort in the companionship of Randy Enos and together they have shared in many wonderful memories with one another over the past 10 years.

Bonnie worked various occupations throughout her life, most recently as a Bartender at the former Patriot’s Bar and Trackside in Jerseyville.

She enjoyed arts and crafts projects and for a period of time operated her own store, selling her various creations. She also enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping and was an outstanding cook.

Surviving are two sons, John Joseph “JJ” Jones and James Bannister; as well as a step-son, Casey Jones, all of Jerseyville;  her significant other, Randy Enos of Alton; a sister and brother in-law, Betty and Bill Cunningham of Pine Island, Florida; four brothers and sisters in-law, Robert and Sandy Bick of Dade County, Florida, David and Terri Bick of Gainsville, Florida, James and Cindy Bick of Jerseyville and Dennis and Pam Bick of Grafton; a sister in-law, Melba Bick of Kane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bick and a sister in-law, Barbara Bick.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
