He was blessed with good friends and a large extended family, and they felt blessed to have him in their lives. He was especially close to his four grandparents and shared their enjoyment of the simple things in life. He loved working in his garden and with his fruit trees. He enjoyed life at his country home. His favorite vehicle to drive was an old Chevy Suburban.

Ben was a very spiritual man and loved discussing the endless possibilities of the universe. He cared about the environment. He loved being outdoors, hunting for arrowheads, enjoying the Grafton scenery and activities, and falling asleep to a good movie.
