AUDREY JEAN RUSSELL

JERSEYVILLE – Audrey Jean (Shaw) Russell, 88, died at 2:40 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Jerseyville Manor.

She was born on July 9, 1930 in White Hall to the late Wilbur and Leta (Custer) Shaw.

She married Alfred Russell and together their marriage blessed them with eight children and 70 years together.

Surviving are her husband, Alfred Russell of Jerseyville; a daughter, Karen Murle; seven sons, Terry, Allen, Roger, Kendell, Mike, Shawn and James Russell; four sisters, Donna Joan, Sandra Darlene, Carolyn Jane and Sharon Kay; as well as four brothers, Larry Noel, Gary Lindell, Robert Kendell and Ronnie Duane.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara June, Linda Lou, Vicky Lea and a brother, Wilbur Dean.

Cremation rights have been accorded and no services will be held.

Memorials may be given to the family, in care of the funeral home.
