Amanda "Mandy" Pearson Obituary

AMANDA (AUSLEY) PEARSON

OLD MONROE, MO – Amanda Claire “Mandy” (Ausley) Pearson, 37, formerly of Jerseyville, was a loving, happy-go-lucky young daughter, mother, sister and friend who’s life was cut short on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Mandy touched the lives of so many with her caring and fun-loving personality.

Mandy’s too-brief journey of life began on October 24, 1982 in Jerseyville, Illinois where she was welcomed into the world by her parents, Ronald and Patty Ann (Sedlacek) Ausley.

She graduated with the class of 2001 from Jersey Community High School and attended Robert Morris University-Springfield. She then went on to complete her education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Finance from Capella University.

Mandy began her working career in the banking industry, working at several banks in both Illinois and Missouri. She ultimately settled in St. Charles County where she has resided for the past several years and had recently accepted a new position in Office Administration with the Boeing Company.

Mandy lived life to the fullest – she enjoyed crocheting and her extensive collection of yarn was truly a sight to be seen; but above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mandy’s greatest joy in life was being a loving and caring mom. Mandy’s life revolved around her boys and she enjoyed nothing more than a movie night at home with Marshall and Oliver.

In addition to her boys at home, Mandy leaves behind her father and step-mother, Ron and Jackie Ausley of Jerseyville; a brother and sister in-law, Eric and Jennifer Ausley of O’Fallon, Illinois; a sister and brother in-law, Karla and Matthew Stork of St Peters, Missouri; a nephew, Logan McClain; two nieces, Katarina Ausley and Adrianna Stork; her grandfather, James Baynes of St Peters, Missouri; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of dear friends.

She was welcomed “home” by her mother, Patty Ausley; along with her grandparents, Wilbur “Butch” Sedlacek; Jeanette Doeller; Dorothy Baynes and Raymond Ausley.

Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.

Mandy left this earth too tragically and too early for us to understand.  God always has a purpose, albeit sometimes painful, and therefore we all must believe that Mandy is still among us fulfilling hers. Thank you for being a part of our lives Mandy – you will continue to live in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
