Aleeta V (Kassler) Smith

OVERLAND, MISSOURI – Aleeta V Smith, 60, died at 8:56 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.

She was born on April 19, 1963 in Harbor City, California and was the daughter of the late Erich and Judith (Bland) Kassler. She spent the early years of her childhood in California, prior to the family settling back in the Midwest in 1965.

She graduated with the Class of 1981 from Hazelwood Central High School in Florissant, Missouri and following her graduation, went on to attend banking school.

She was employed with various financial institutions throughout her career, prior to accepting employment with Boeing, where she worked for five years, and retired as a Surveyor with the St. Louis County Government office.

Aleeta was an animal lover, and her dog Zoey held a very special place in her heart. She also enjoyed playing pool, and was known by all who knew her as a “pool shark”. She traveled to Las Vegas several times for tournaments and played on many local leagues throughout the years.

Surviving are her four sons, Gary Fahrenholz Jr., Michael Fahrenholz, Zachary Fahrenholz and Brendan Fahrenholz; two grandchildren, Angel Allen and Michael Fahrenholz Jr.; a sister, Alisa Milan; a niece, Kelci (Brandon) Wallace and their son, Evan; as well as a nephew, Lucas Milan.
