RONALD PLUMMER & BILLY PLUMMER

ROCKBRIDGE -   Brothers, Ronald Delbert Plummer 55, and Billy Joe Plummer, 54, were tragically killed at their residence in the evening hours of Sunday, September 9, 2018.

Ronald was born in Jerseyville on Apr. 26. 1963 , the first son born to Harry Delbert and Gloria (Huff) Plummer. Just shy of a year later, their second son, Billy, also born in Jerseyville, entered this world on Apr. 12, 1964.

They grew up alongside their brother James, in Jerseyville, and both attended Jersey Community High School, with Billy graduating with the Class of 1982.

Billy began employment early on with Beckner Painting Midwest in St. Louis, Mo., becoming well known in the industry, and dedicating 30 years of service.  

Ronald was a jack of all trades, working in the construction field, concentrating on carpentry and roofing, but was the happiest and most content, if he could just be riding his Harley.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Plummer of Greenfield; and they are both survived by their father and stepmother, Harry Delbert and Trudy Plummer of Jerseyville; as well as a brother and sister in-law, James and Rebecca Plummer of Greenfield.

They were preceded in death by their mother and stepfather - Gloria and Leon Lenington.

Combined visitation for Ronald and Billy will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.  The Rev. Kim Bell will officiate.

They will be laid to rest alongside each other at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Fidelity.

In lieu of any flowers and plants, memorials may be given to their family in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
