Jeanette (Weller) Herring Strack

JEANETTE HERRING STRACK

WOOD RIVER - Jeanette Herring Strack, 84, passed away at 10:12 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Integrity Healthcare of Wood River from complications of Diabetes and Parkinson's Disease. 

She was born in Kane on October 17, 1934 to the late Jesse and Thelma (Kirchner) Weller and was raised, along with her siblings, in Greene County. 

She married David Strack on May 1990 in Godfrey and together they have shared in 28 years of marriage. 

Surviving are her husband, David Strack of Wood River; a son and daughter in-law, Doug and Melody Herring of Florida;two sisters, Joann Shain and Mazie Bridgeman, both of Jerseyville; a brother, Rick Weller of Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended relatives. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse Jr., Harvey, Bill, Jim, Benjamin "Lin", Clete and Julius Weller. 

Per her wishes, private services were held with burial at the Jalappa Cemetery in Kane. 

Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville was in charge of arrangements.
